On May 1st, 2013, I decided to really try my hand at this blogging thing- so today is this blog’s 4th anniversary!
When I started blogging, it was for the purpose of capturing both my journey with Foster and chronicling the process of flipping our foreclosure home as we lived in it. And even when the house sold, and Foster was retired, I couldn’t give up the hobby of writing this blog. Through it I have met some really wonderful people and grown to lean on and love the blogging community. I also have more than 600 memories and conversations, good, bad, embarrassing, and everything in between, that I can pull up at whim. And I really love sharing stories with you all and hearing your advice, or discussing your opinions, or connecting with you through even a simple ‘like’.
It’s been a great 4 years, and I can’t wait to see how this blog continues to evolve in the future! Thank you to readers, past, present, and future, for making this part of my life so worthy!
Do you blog? What lead you to blog, and how has your journey with blogging changed your life?
It was the same for me – I wanted to chronicle my progress with Murray and share my thoughts about riding, progress, baby horses (weird baby horses), and learning in general. And I have gotten to meet so many cool, fun people while doing it! I think the best part is learning from other people and their experiences — it’s such a rich community with so many different opinions, ideas, and styles.
Haha I love following along on your adventures! Murray stories make for great content 😀
Congrats on 4! It was a pleasure meeting you at the AEC last year, hopefully our paths will cross again. And continued good luck on finding mr. right ( the four legged variety of course)!!
Thank you, and such a pleasure to meet you too!!
I ask myself this question a lot, and write about it a lot too. I don’t exactly know, but blogging seems like something I can’t shake at this point. Congrats on 4 years!
Thank you for being the inspiration for starting this blog!!
May seems to be the month for Blog-versaries. Mine is in May too! It’s been great getting to know you through your blog (and meeting you in real life too).
Yay! Though I suspect your blogversary number is higher than mine 🙂 I loved meeting you!! Let’s do it again sometime 😀
Happy 4th! I’m glad you’ve stuck with it! The horse blogging community is awesome.
#cantstopwontstop 🙂 🙂
Time flies! I love the fun, collaborative little community we’ve built on the interwebz
Time flies when you’re having fun!! So much love here!
Happy Blogiversary!! So grateful for the awesome horse blogging niche we have going ❤
Congrats on the blogiversary. I’d been reading horse blogs for so long I thought it would be fun to try my own. It’s definitely been a journey.
Congrats on 4 years! I’ve loved following along – you and Foster were always a big inspiration (not least in making me want a helmet cam!) and I look forward to seeing what comes next!
Personally I love blogging for a couple someone independent reasons. Obviously it’s proven to be a useful repository for me to document my learning process and the work I’m putting into my riding and horses. And ya know. It’s a digital photo album lol. More than that, tho, I’ve really been so inspired by this community and have learned so much more about riding and horses by reading others’ shared experiences. And participating in the conversation has been really unexpectedly fulfilling – esp with regard to the friends I’ve made!
Happy blogiversary! 🙂 I love reading about your adventures. I started my blog for a similar reason – just to record my own experiences, and it has grown into something I really enjoy and rely on for this wonderful community!
I just hit my 4 year anniversary too! We must have started at the same time! Congrats!
Congrats! So glad we got to meet through your blog!
Sprinkler Bandits and RedHeadLins and I were all friends and they blogged and got me into blogging. I love it and I learn a lot from others. Congrats on your 4 years!
It’s so inspiring to see people celebrating their blog anniversaries. For a starting blogger like me(just started a month ago), it gives me motivation to continue writing and to learn from different people. Kudos! To more years! ☺️
